After graduating from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor of Science degree in art and a concentration in woodworking, Tammy Schroeder was searching for a career about which she could be passionate. While completing a jewelry repair course the following year, Tammy finally realized “what I wanted to be when I grew up.” Shortly thereafter, she began her career at the jeweler’s bench. She has since completed various jewelry courses including wax design, stone setting, and hand engraving. Now, with over 25 years experience at the bench, this Master Jeweler creates, designs, and alters jewelry resulting in many happy clients.
Tammy has been with Tracy Zeller jewelry since its inception in 2004 and was inspired to create the TZj exclusive wee little hands™ design by the handprints left around the house by her own children.
Tammy is a lifelong west-side Evansville resident. When not at the jeweler’s bench, she enjoys working outdoors and spending time with her husband and their three boys. The boys keep Tammy busy with various sports and school activities. When time allows, she indulges the other passion in her life, running. Tammy and her family enjoy traveling anywhere there is a sunny beach and an ocean breeze!
